One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as I’ve grown older and more experienced with software development is that it is more important to be a perfectionist about the right things than to be a perfectionist about everything. It’s good to say, “I don’t care” sometimes. Over time you learn that the mistakes you make typically have less impact than you feared while the learnings from them are more than worth it.
