Welcome to The Rack! Today was a historic day for Fab. Today, just 15 months after launching our website to the world, we opened up The Rack, Fab’s first Fab-owned and fully Fab-operated warehouse. (The Rack is operated by our Rackstars. Duh!)

And, we’re live, shipping already to Fab’s 5.5M U.S. customers. Today we shipped items from The Rack. Beardo: Sold today on Fab; shipped today from The Rack. Amazing. In just a few weeks The Rack will be full of most of the products shipping to our U.S. customers for Fab Holiday 2012.

This is a huge development for Fab and an even huger development for Fab’s customers. Items that are at The Rack can ship anywhere in the U.S. in 1 to 5 days for the holidays. And, by this November, 70% of what Fab sells will be coming from The Rack. Fast. To. You.

Fab is the fourth company Jason founded. Jason previously founded fabulis, socialmedian, and Jobster. In 2009, following the sale of socialmedian to XING AG, Jason was Chief Product Officer at XING, based in Hamburg, Germany. Before starting Jobster in 2004, Jason led product and business initiatives at both T-Mobile USA and AOL Time Warner. In a prior life, Jason spent 6 years working 100 hours a week for Bill Clinton in the White House.

Jason is also an investor in and Board Member at RJ Metrics. He is also an investor in BlackJet and Twitter. Notable prior investments: TweetDeck.
